10:00 AM VJ Day Bradbury Science Museum - 1350 Central Ave, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Victory over Japan, or VJ Day, commemorates Japan’s acceptance of the Potsdam Declaration in August of 1945. At the Bradbury Science Museum, we serve as a window into the history and current research of the Lab. We also serve as a space for reflection. Please join us at the Museum on VJ Day to contemplate what a protracted Second World War might have meant, how the Manhattan Project ended that war preemptively, and the legacy of the Manhattan Project’s success.
