Student Programs

Los Alamos National Laboratory continues to support a robust student internship program. This summer we are hosting close to 1,000 student and post-graduate interns. Given the limited onsite operations currently allowed at LANL, our Summer 2020 students are engaged in a variety of virtual internship experiences working on LANL projects from home or other remote locations. As conditions change students will be afforded a greater range of opportunities, including work at LANL facilities, but for the foreseeable future students should assume that they will at least be starting their internship experiences in a "virtual" modality.

Join us for the Annual Student Symposium August 14, 2020

At the end of each summer internship season, the Partnerships & Pipeline Student Programs Office at the Lab hosts a Student Symposium. The Symposium provides a unique opportunity for students to present their research and is an excellent forum for students to network and make professional contacts. The entire event is open to all LANL personnel and the public.
