CSES Partnerships
Collaborations between Los Alamos National Laboratory and university scientists are an effective way to promote creativity and extend science beyond today’s understanding.
As part of our strategy to encourage university collaborations, we strongly encourage participation of students and/or post docs, who in turn spend part of their research experience working with the Los Alamos scientific staff.
New Mexico university partnerships
CSES has partnered with the New Mexico Consortium (NMC)to help support CSES Student Fellow proposals.
NMC’s charter is to specifically support New Mexico university/LANL partnerships. CSES Student fellow proposals involving New Mexico campuses are eligible for support though NMC which can help cover the student and University PI costs of the proposal, with CSES supporting the LANL PI.
Student Fellow proposals involving New Mexico campuses are thus encouraged, as they will allow CSES to support more students through this cost-sharing arrangement.
