RoboRAVE Rally and Science Showdown
Event Description
Students will compete and participate in a variety of activities at the RoboRAVE Rally and Science Showdown.
During the RoboRAVE Rally, participating teams of students from grades three through college will send their robots through mazes and up inclines in robot competitions. New this year and open to all who wish to participate is a micro drone aerial combat competition.
The Science Showdown features booths from area institutions such as Explora Science Center and Twirl (a “play and discovery space” from Taos). Staff from the Laboratory’s Bradbury Science Museum will provide hands-on activities.
Programs such as RoboRAVE and Science Showdown provide opportunities for hundreds of northern New Mexico students to explore STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) areas.
