It’s not every day we’re referred to as “revered.”

5280.com (subtitled Denver’s Mile High Magazine) included a “First-Timer’s Guide: Los Alamos, New Mexico” in its November issue. The guide includes outdoor recreation, family activities, and “cheap” skiing, as well as places to eat, drink, shop, and enjoy some of the unique attractions around town (like the Main Gate Park—a great photo op). But our favorite bit was “If You Do One Thing.” The one thing it said to do was stop by and see the Museum.

Included in the guide’s remarks about the Museum is this statement: “Entry is free to this revered institution, where visitors can learn about the Lab’s history and current research projects throughout the museum’s 40 interactive exhibits.”

It’s not every day we’re referred to as “revered.” We greatly appreciate the mention.

And for those who are curious, the “5280” refers to Denver’s altitude in feet above sea level.
