NanoDays at the Museum

NanoDays is a national festival of educational programs about nanoscale science and engineering and it’s potential impact on the future. The Bradbury Science Museum will celebrate NanoDays over local spring break, March 24–April 3, 2016.

At the nanoscale—the size of atoms and molecules—many common materials exhibit unusual properties. Out ability to manipulate matter at this smaller-than-microscopic size enables innovations that were never before possible. Using these advances, nanotechnology is revolutionizing how we research and develop medicine, computing, materials, food, energy and so many other things we rely on.

At NanoDays, information will show the special and unexpected properties found at the nanoscale. Come by for unique learning experiences for children and adults.

What to expect:

• Hands-on, tabletop activities will be available from March 24 through April 3.
• Special demonstrations at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. March 29 through April 1
• An Art of Nanoscience display will be available for viewing.
