Oct. 9: Speed mentoring for entrepreneurs
The City of Santa Fe Economic Development Department and New Mexico Angels host this speed mentoring event in Santa Fe for founders and small business owners looking for targeted advice on challenges like marketing, finance, business strategy, and operations. Registration required.

Oct. 14: Data 101 for nonprofits
If you’re a nonprofit staff member or leader who wants to use data to manage programs and operations, join Los Alamos National Laboratory data scientist Sara Ann Mason for this first workshop in an online series from Groundworks New Mexico on how to use data analysis to understand and improve your organization’s performance.

Oct. 15: Santa Fe Community College Career Fair
Talk with employers from multiple career fields including health care, education, arts and communication, trades and sustainability, science and engineering at this free Santa Fe Community College event for students and community members. Recruiters from Los Alamos National Laboratory will be taking part.

Oct. 24: High-Tech Halloween
Head to the Laboratory’s Bradbury Science Museum in Los Alamos for some wickedly cool science with demonstrations, surprises and activities for the whole family.
