Social Kitchen
Santa Fe Rising hosts an event on communication styles April 23 at Social Kitchen in Santa Fe.

April 23: Santa Fe Rising communications social
Santa Fe Rising, the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce’s young professionals initiative, hosts a workshop on how generational communication styles can impact how your message lands, and what you can do to improve your soft skills.

April 30: Nonprofit organizational leadership and strategy
Organized by the Santa Fe Community Foundation, Taos Center for the Arts is the location for this free session for nonprofit leaders, in which guest speaker Omar Torres explores how teams function and how to align values with everyday operations.

April 30: Small business and entrepreneurship working group meeting
Head to the New Mexico Innovation Hub in midtown Santa Fe for this meeting hosted by the City of Santa Fe that brings together local business owners, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders and community members to help inform the city’s economic development efforts. There is also an online option for attendance.

May 1: Santa Fe County Micro-grant application deadline
The Regional Development Corporation's microgrants (which are supported by Laboratory operator Triad) provide small businesses with a small infusion of capital (up to $3,000). The current application is for businesses headquartered in Santa Fe County outside of the City of Santa Fe limits.
