Research Description


My thesis work at Louisiana State University involved the research and development of a novel gamma-ray imaging technique known as rotating modulation. This work was motivated by the need for an all-sky survey satellite mission to discover and catalog black hole candidates.

Here at LANL, I am applying my experience in hard x-ray/ soft gamma-ray imaging, instrument design, and scintillator development to several projects including CZT-based gamma detectors and novel scintillator-based radioisotope identification devices.
