Harwood
The Harwood Museum of Art hosts the Taos Chamber of Commerce networking event April 9.

March 19: Workforce development meetup
Head to Santa Fe Community College to learn about the City of Santa Fe Office of Economic Development’s partnership with the college, get a tour of SFCC’s trades and certifications programs, and stay informed on workforce initiatives and available resources.

March 25: Santa Fe Community College Career Fair
This free event open to all community members gives job seekers the chance to talk with a range of employers from fields such as healthcare, education, trades, law and business. Along with the Laboratory, employers attending include Santa Fe County, Christus St. Vincent, Sandia Area Federal Credit Union, The Santa Fe New Mexican, and Las Cumbres Community Services.

March 25: Learning how to ask for a gift
Hosted by New Mexico Mainstreet, this free online webinar helps nonprofit leaders make donor conversations natural, positive and productive.

April 3: Deadline for Career Pathways Scholarships
Supported by Laboratory employees and Laboratory operator Triad, Career Pathways Scholarships up to $3,000 are aimed at Northern New Mexico high school students and adult learners who want to earn an associate degree, certification or professional trade credential. 

April 9: Taos Chamber Mix and Meet
The Harwood Museum of Art in Taos hosts April’s Taos Chamber of Commerce networking event, giving business owners and entrepreneurs a chance to strengthen their relationships with their area peers and colleagues.

April 13: Application deadline for BEAM summer school for New Mexico students
Held in Española in June and July, this free four-week hands-on STEM summer school from the Laboratory immerses high school and college students in light-based technologies including lasers and fiber optics. A $2000 stipend is available.
