Investors, scientists and community members are invited to Los Alamos Demo Day, 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, in the Santa Fe Farmer’s Market Pavillion. Organized by Los Alamos National Laboratory, the event includes presentations by fellows from the New Mexico Lab Embedded Entrepreneurship Program (NM LEEP), similar programs from Lawrence Berkeley and Oak Ridge national laboratories, and the University of California/LANL Entrepreneur Post-Doc Accelerator. Attendees will learn about new developments in digital intelligence, advanced materials, space systems, medical technology, energy security and more.

“This is a unique opportunity for our entrepreneurs to showcase breakthrough technologies to leaders in science, government and venture capital, and to forge the partnerships that can give bold, new ideas national impact,” said Molly Cernicek, NM LEEP program manager. “We’re looking forward to an energizing afternoon filled with big ideas, great conversations and inspiring people.”

Los Alamos Demo Day is a project of the Richard P. Feynman Center for Innovation at the Laboratory. Its mission is to fuel entrepreneurship and commercial ingenuity among scientists and engineers, paving the way for innovation-driven growth
