NM Demo Day July 30: Investors, scientists welcome

2026-07-27 — The Santa Fe Farmers’ Market Pavillion sets the stage for an afternoon of more than 20 five-minute, fast-pitch, deep-tech presentations from New Mexico scientists and entrepreneurs at New Mexico Demo Day, organized by Los Alamos National Laboratory’s Feynman Center for Innovation.

Investors, scientists and community members are invited to New Mexico Demo Day from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 30, at the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market Pavillion, 1607 Paseo de Peralta in Santa Fe. Organized by the Feynman Center for Innovation at Los Alamos National Laboratory, the event will feature more than 20 private-sector entrepreneurs and Laboratory postdoctoral researchers developing solutions for national security, including artificial intelligence, quantum computing, advanced energy solutions, innovative materials and aerospace.

The event also includes refreshments and networking breaks interspersed throughout the day.

“New Mexico Demo Day brings together entrepreneurs who are building companies around technologies that matter to the nation, from quantum systems and advanced energy to space, materials and national security,” said Molly Cernicek, NM Lab-Embedded Entrepreneurship Program (NM LEEP) program manager. “The event gives investors, government leaders, scientists and industry partners an opportunity to discover emerging solutions and help these companies move from scientific breakthrough to national impact. Expect an afternoon of big ideas, great conversations and inspiring innovators.”

The event includes presentations from emerging entrepreneurs in NM LEEP, the University of California-LANL Entrepreneur Postdoc Accelerator, the growing New Mexico startup ecosystem, plus entrepreneurs representing LEEP programs at the National Laboratory of the Rockies, Argonne, Oak Ridge and Lawrence Berkeley national laboratories.
