Bioscience Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory is looking for exceptional scientists, students, and staff to advance scientific understanding, boost technological innovation, and support missions in national security.

Bioscience research has deep roots within the history of the Laboratory and current capabilities stem from a broad number of historical accomplishments in genome science and biotechnology. Today our scientists apply well-established capabilities to many areas of research to reduce threats to living organisms, their ways of life, and the global environment.

Bioscience Division currently comprises three groups: Genomics and Bioanalytics; Microbial and Biome Sciences; and Biochemistry and Biotechnology. Our current science spans bio- and chemical threat detection to microbiome analyses to biomanufacturing. As a Division, and a Laboratory, we value the diversity of our workforce because it improves our work, and we strive for an environment where every employee feels a sense of belonging.

As part of our Bioscience team, you'll enjoy an excellent benefits package, as well as an extraordinary life in Northern New Mexico. We offer a generous relocation package.
