Building on the Laboratory's work in the community, managing contractor Triad National Security, LLC, invests in nonprofit programs in the region under its own Community Commitment Plan.
Under the plan, in 2024 Triad invested $3 million in the LANL Foundation, Regional Development Corporation, United Way of NNM, support for child care, and more than 70 nonprofit organizations.
The Triad investment:
- Supports K-12 education through a partnership with the LANL Foundation
- Strengthens regional economic diversity and workforce development together with the Regional Development Corporation
- Builds capacity and coordination across Northern New Mexico nonprofits with the United Way of Northern New Mexico
- Magnifies the generosity of Laboratory employees by providing a partial match for employee contributions to qualified charitable organizations in Northern New Mexico
