Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
Closed when Los Alamos National Lab is closed or during inclement weather. Call ahead.

Directions

From Albuquerque take I-25 north to Santa Fe, then US 84/285 north to Pojoaque. At Pojoaque take the NM 502 exit to Los Alamos. View Google maps.

Parking

Free parking is located at the museum and in adjacent lots.

Visitor Dos and Don’ts

  • Photos are allowed and encouraged!
  • Food, drinks, and firearms are not allowed in the museum.
  • Service animals are welcome. No other animals are allowed.

WiFi

The museum has free WiFi. Login and password information are posted at the Welcome Desk.

Accessibility

Our facility is wheelchair-accessible and we have two wheelchairs available for visitor use on site. Most of our videos are captioned and/or have hearing-assistance systems. Service animals are welcome.

Museum Tours and Student Field Trips

Tours

  • All tours of the Museum are self-guided.
  • Schedule groups of 10 or more in advance by emailing bsm-reservations@lanl.gov.
  • Parking for buses and RVs is available on Iris Street behind the Museum off of 15th Street.
