The Lab offers employees and their eligible dependents dental coverage through Delta Dental of New Mexico. The dental plan is a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Plan. Participants can select any Delta Dental provider, but Delta PPO Providers offer the best value for covered services. Use the Delta Dental website to locate an in-network provider in your area.
The plan offers nationwide in- and out-of-network coverage, two free preventive cleanings for each covered member each calendar year (they do not need to be scheduled six months apart), orthodontic coverage for children and adults, and more! See the plan highlight sheet for additional information.
Also, Tele-Dentistry is offered to employees enrolled in the dental plan! This is 24/7 access to licensed dentists at no cost for urgent or emergency evaluations. These providers can provide referrals, help with scheduling with in-network providers, and prescribe medications.
ID cards are issued by Delta Dental of New Mexico, but are not required at point of service. If you need a new card, download one through their website or access it easily through their app.
