Manufacturing Managers

• Lead manufacturing operations that support mission-critical pit production. Oversee plutonium fabrication, machining, and production activities while ensuring safety, training, work authorization, and operational readiness in a highly regulated nuclear environment. 
• Coordinate teams, resources, and operational priorities to maintain production schedules, quality standards, and manufacturing performance. 
• Work closely with technicians, engineers, and manufacturing professionals to develop talent, improve processes, and deliver mission-critical results. 

Engineers

• Build systems that matter. Design, improve, and sustain the equipment, processes, and products that support mission-critical pit production and national security objectives as we scale to rate production. 
• Translate product requirements into manufacturing solutions by developing equipment, improving processes, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring product quality throughout production. 
• Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to drive innovation, improve performance, and deliver reliable production capabilities. 

Production Technicians 

With a specialty in Machinists Technologists, Welders, Casters, Radiographers, Inspectors, and Leak Testers

• Support mission-critical pit production through hands-on technical work involving plutonium processing, fabrication, inspection, assembly, and testing in specialized nuclear-manufacturing rate-production environments. 
• Operate advanced equipment to cast, weld, inspect, measure, and test plutonium components, including through radiography, leak testing, and other non-destructive evaluation methods.  
• Apply specialized expertise to improve manufacturing processes, develop technical solutions, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Build precision components that support mission-critical pit production, using advanced machining equipment to manufacture tooling, prototypes, and production hardware to exacting tolerances.

Administrative Professionals (Support Staff)

• Support mission-critical pit production by coordinating schedules, travel, meetings, procurement, and administrative activities that keep operations running efficiently. 
• Serve as a trusted resource for managers, technical staff, and stakeholders by managing communications, records, visitors, and day-to-day office operations in a dynamic environment. 
• Help teams stay focused on mission delivery by solving problems, organizing priorities, and supporting the people and processes behind national security work.

Technical Project Leaders

• Lead mission-critical pit production efforts by coordinating complex work across manufacturing, engineering, operations, and facility organizations. 
• Manage schedules, milestones, and operational interfaces to support safe, efficient plutonium fabrication in a highly regulated nuclear environment. 
• Partner with technical teams and stakeholders to track performance, resolve challenges, and ensure critical national security objectives—including rate production goals—are achieved.
