    Secure Networks & Assurance (SNA) group combines related disciplines in IT operations, network security, and software engineering with a goal of encouraging a security-focused DevOps culture to support programs across DDW.

  • Weapons Mission Technology

    The Weapons Mission Technology (WMT) group provides software solutions and technical support for key weapons mission applications that facilitates the weapons design and production engineering across the Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE). The group has subject matter experts in software development, configuration management, and archival search capabilities.

  • National Security Research Center Digital Collections

    National Security Research Center Digital Collections (NSRC-DC) group provides support to preserve Weapons Programs’ knowledge improving accessibility of information via digitization of various media types: paper, logbooks, large format drawings, microfilm, microfiche, video, negatives, radiographs, etc.

  • National Security Research Center Mission Support

    National Security Research Center Mission Support (NSRC-MS) group provides a wide range of services to support the LANL Weapons Program. The group’s expert librarians, archivists, historians, knowledge management specialists, and project managers make LANL’s vast collection of nuclear weapons information discoverable and ensure its security.

  • The Weapons Knowledge Management Program

    The Weapons Knowledge Management (WKM) Program is a core capability for innovation, responsiveness and mission delivery. It is a multidisciplinary field that reduces the risk of knowledge loss and promotes knowledge retention and sharing.

  • Nuclear Weapons Cyber Assurance Laboratory (NWCAL)

    The NWCAL Mission is to support the LANL Weapons mission and the NNSA Nuclear Enterprise Assurance (NEA) requirements at Los Alamos National Laboratory by providing Operational and Information Technology Assurance, critical response, and security consulting to Nuclear Weapons design and production programs, processes, and enabling capabilities.​

Our work enables code developers, weapons designers, engineers, and experimenters to certify the stockpile and investigate national and global security questions.
