The Supply Chain and Logistics (SCL) division provides a centralized supply chain and logistics service model for critical delivery aspects of the Associate Laboratory Directorate of Weapons Production (ALDWP).

SCL supports LANL’s national security mission by providing accurate and timely delivery of materials.

Critical skillsets needed: procurement engineers, vendor liaisons, procurement risk program managers, material managers, logistics experts, and performance analysts.

  • SCL-1: Procurement Engineering & Acquisition Management

    SCL-1 provides procurement engineering services, procurement vendor liaison services, and material tracking and status services for construction and facility projects, and facility maintenance work required to support operations within the TA-55 FOD.

  • SCL-2: Warehousing & Materials Management

    SCL-2 manages material critical to the safety and operations within ALDWP such as personal protective equipment (PPE), respirators, laundry, and spare parts. Other warehousing services include material stocking, material transfers, logistics, replenishment services, tool crib management, deliver-to-the-floor services, and changeroom and locker management.

  • SCL-3: Programmatic Supply Chain

    SCL-3 handles programmatic and weapons procurements, and controlled storage. Their scope also includes precious metal management, chemical management and storage, Measuring and Testing equipment calibration coordination, kitting, replenishment, deliver-to-the-floor services, material transfers, and logistics.

  • Strategic Alliance & Continuous Improvement (SACI)

    The SACI team develops strategies for continuous improvement through supply chain analytics, forecasting, assessment program management, procurement risk management, IT portfolio management, document management, and communications in direct support of SCL operations and ALDWP’s mission.
