Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies User Program

Jointly operated by Los Alamos and Sandia national laboratories, the Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies (CINT) is a U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Science national user facility leveraging the unmatched scientific and engineering expertise of the host labs to provide the international research community with state-of-the-art research facilities and capabilities in the areas of nanoscience and nanotechnology free of charge for open science.

At Los Alamos, CINT users have access to the Gateway to Los Alamos facility, which includes approximately 11,000 square feet of laboratory space for chemical and biological synthesis and characterization, biomaterials fabrication and characterization, optical microcopy and spectroscopy, physical synthesis, thin film fabrication, spatially resolved scanned probe characterization, and advanced computation.
