Stories of LDRD accomplishments from the NNSA laboratories
The LDRD program operates under careful oversight from the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). In accordance with DOE Order 413.2C (pdf), the LDRD Program Offices from each national laboratory submits an annual written report on the laboratory’s LDRD activities to the CSO/Deputy Administrator, NNSA, and the responsible DOE/NNSA site manager.
These annual reports include an overview of the program as well as a short summary of each funded project. The overview provides a glance at the impacts of the program in the given fiscal year, including standard LDRD program performance metrics.
