We combine all-source intelligence with expert understanding of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) science and technology to assess the threats posed by foreign adversaries. These assessments inform strategic decisions for optimizing integrated deterrence.

The Intelligence and Systems Analysis Group (A-2) combines a diverse range of expertise to provide analytic products to a broad range of customers in support of national security. 

Employees in A-2, have a diverse range of educational and career experience, including weapons physics and engineering, emerging threats science and technology, materials science, forensic chemistry, imagery analysis, operations research, national and international policy, statistics, and economics.
