Introducing the Director’s Colloquium 

The Director’s Colloquium features eminent speakers presenting unique lectures on compelling topics with outstanding scientific and technical merit and on subjects related to contemporary policy issues.

This series has a long and distinguished history that can be traced back to J. Robert Oppenheimer’s Primer Lecture Series of 1943 and the subsequent Super Conference of 1946.
