Plutonium Futures —The Science 2003

Information for Oral Presentations

Oral Presentations: Each oral presentation has been allotted either 25 or 30 minutes, (see the Preliminary Program for details). Presenters should plan to allow 5 minutes of their alloted time for questions and discussion. Session chairs will strictly adhere to the schedule, so please prepare your presentation accordingly.

Presentation Format: Most presentation formats will be supported: overhead projectors, 35-mm slide projectors, and Windows Powerpoint computer-projection equipment will be available. If you have a Powerpoint presentation, please bring a CD containing your Powerpoint file; label the CD with your name and presentation date and time. In addition for computer presentations, in case of difficulties with projection, please bring a backup copy of your presentation on viewgraphs or overheads. If you have additional presentation needs, please contact LeeRoy Herrera at 505-665-5993 or ljherrera@lanl.gov.

Speaker Ready Room: A Speaker Ready Room will be available for review of presentation materials, etc.

Additional Information: Contact your Session Chair before the session if at all possible to help him/her properly introduce you to the audience.

Please arrive at the session room at least 15 minutes before the session begins. Familiarize yourself with the room, audiovisual equipment, laser pointer, clock or timer at the lectern, etc.

If you need assistance changing viewgraphs or slides, please let the Session Chair know before the session starts.

Please keep the number of visual aids to a minimum.

The Session Chair will keep track of the time and will signal you to conclude the presentation when the allotted time has elapsed.

Your cooperation in keeping the session as scheduled will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
