Santa Fe, New Mexico

May 31 - June 5, 2009

Travelling to and from the Conference

The best way to get to the Santa Fe, New Mexico, area is to fly into the Albuquerque International Airport (ABQ). It is possible to fly directly to Santa Fe via Denver, but is generally much more expensive.

Santa Fe is approximately a one-hour drive from the Albuquerque airport. If driving, exit the airport taking I-25 north. To get to the plaza area (where the La Fonda hotel is located) exit I-25 at the St. Francis Street exit and follow the signs. Directions to the La Fonda Hotel are given here.

Note added Friday, May 29: If you are arriving at the airport in ABQ very late Sunday night after the last shuttle and are looking for a way to get to Santa Fe, or if you are planning to rent a car and could offer rides on Sunday, please E-mail Joyce Guzik ( or call her at at 1-505-667-8927.
