Software Requirements

To run Document, you must have perl installed. You may also need a compiler if you want to process the source code, and a formatter if you want to process the Document output (documentation) file.

To generate the documentation for Document in PostScript, you will need L^ATEX2_e, makeindex and dvips. To generate the documentation in HTML you will need L^ATEX2_e, makeindex, gnu tar, and L^ATEX2HTML, which requires ghostscript, netpbm, and perl, version 5.

The HTML version will look better if L^ATEX2HTML v.98.2beta8, (or later) is used.
