I am an ecosystem hydrologist and geomorphologist interested in understanding the interactive roles of hydrology and geomorphology in shaping landscapes from mountainous regions to coastal ecosystems. In particular, I am interested in how the hydrological interactions between surface and subsurface and between terrestrial (land) and aquatic system (lake/ocean) give rise to the change of hydrological characteristics and associated geomorphological feedback of landscapes at multiple temporal and spatial scales.
