These campus-level decreases are attributed to the accumulation of many facility-level efficiency measures. Each project and initiative, however small, is a step towards increasing the Laboratory's sustainability. In addition to individual projects, the Sustainability Program creates a Site Sustainability Report each year and tracks the energy use, water use, and greenhouse gas emissions of the Lab.
