Every day, dedicated people across the Laboratory’s nearly 40 square miles work tirelessly to ensure we continue to be good stewards of the environment, effective trustees of our lands and resources, and proactively manage our environmental impacts to create a healthy and sustainable future. This commitment to enduring environmental stewardship takes many different forms, from improving our water and energy efficiency and diversifying our energy portfolio with alternative energy sources, to monitoring our air and water quality, caring for our trails, and protecting sensitive species. To help show the breadth of the Lab’s efforts, the enduring environmental stewardship program has developed a series of videos, each highlighting one aspect of what we do and why.
