1st and 2nd R&D Electrical Safety Meetings and Workshops

The first two R&D Electrical Safety Meeting/Workshop were held in March of 2004 and 2005.  They were deemed a great success by the participants.  The primary benefits were communication, collaboration, and cooperation between the various sites on their electrical safety programs.  Many sites picked up new ideas to take back to their respective programs.  Over the past two Meetings 17 DOE/NNSA sites, and 3 DOE/NNSA offices participated (see list below). There were 45 attendees at the 2004 meeting and 60 at the 2005 meeting.  Details of each meeting, including technical presentations and workshop topics are detailed below.

17 DOE/NNSA Sites Participating

  • Ames Laboratory
  • Argonne National Laboratory
  • Bechtel Nevada
  • Brookhaven National Laboratory
  • Fermi National Laboratory
  • Idaho National Laboratory
