Devesh is now an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M's Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Devesh received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007, and his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Madison in 2005.

He received his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Tiruchirrappalli, India in 2003.

Devesh's research interests are in the areas of Rayleigh-Taylor (buoyancy driven) and Richtmyer-Meshkov (shock driven) turbulence, Shock refraction studies, development of flow control devices, supersonic combustion, and insect flight dynamics.
