The Board of County Commissioners of Santa Fe County issued a proclamation August 29 thanking the sponsors of the 2017 Pojoaque Basin Water Fair, including Los Alamos National Laboratory.

The fair was a cooperative effort from partners including the Pueblo of Pojoaque, the New Mexico Department of Health, the City of Santa Fe, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and gave around 200 private well owners the opportunity to have their well water tested at no cost. Los Alamos National Laboratory and Los Alamos National Security, LLC provided funding for the water testing.
