The Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation has given $1 million to the schools, teachers, and students of Los Alamos Public Schools. Celebrate this milestone from 7–9 p.m. at Fuller Lodge.
November 5: Launch Los Alamos Teen Pitch Day
Students in the Launch Los Alamos program, run by the Los Alamos Commerce & Development Corporation, will compete for startup funding as they showcase their new products/services and pitch their ideas in front of the Los Alamos community and a panel of judges. The event takes place at ProjectY at 11 a.m.

Nominate a teacher for this new award, which honors teachers and supports the education profession in Rio Arriba County. Winners will be announced before the end-of-year break.

Los Alamos National Laboratory’s participation in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) events is made possible with support from the Department of Energy through the Laboratory’s Science Education Community Service Time Program. To request STEM experts, complete a brief online request form.
Los Alamos experts and volunteers can also be requested through the Laboratory’s Volunteer Program, which partners with the national Volunteer Match initiative.
