July 14: Scientist in the Spotlight

If a cache of stolen nuclear material is intercepted by a law enforcement agency, what would happen next? Christy Ruggiero, with the Lab’s Nuclear Engineering and Nonproliferation Division, will show some of the nuclear forensic "fingerprints" in the material that help answer what the material is, where it came from, and what it could be used for. This talk takes place at the Bradbury Science Museum from 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

July 14: DisrupTECH

A celebration of disruptive technology from the minds at Los Alamos kicks off at 1 p.m. at the Los Alamos Municipal Golf Course. At this signature innovation event, carefully selected entrepreneurial-minded scientists will present their ideas in the tech areas with the goal of introducing the latest groundbreaking technology from Los Alamos and their inventors to entrepreneurs, investors, regional leaders, policy makers, and industrial partners.
