On March 16, following New Mexico Health Secretary Kathy Kunkel’s March 12 order suspending mass gatherings in New Mexico, the Bradbury Science Museum temporarily closed its gallery doors.

Though the Bradbury remains temporarily closed to the public till further notice, Museum staff are working diligently to plan for the day when we can re-open and welcome visitors back into the Museum.

The health and well-being of our staff, their families, our community, and our guests remain our highest priority, and we will develop measures in accordance with current New Mexico Department of Health guidelines and the Lab’s operational guidance for a safe, slow start.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our wonderful community safe. We don’t currently have an opening date scheduled, but we look forward to welcoming you once again, and to serving our community more personally. After all, conversations with you, our guests, are the best part of the job, even if it’s from six feet away.
