Do you know what year JFK visited Los Alamos?

Think you could out-nerd anyone on Los Alamos trivia: the Lab, the town, current and past history, science, the surrounding area and more? Join the Bradbury Science Museum Association at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, for a "Jeopardy!"-style game where you have a chance to be a contestant and win Gadgets gift cards.

RSVP by noon Oct. 8 for this free event, noting whether you would like to be a contestant or an audience member, and you will be sent a Zoom link. If there are more potential contestants than slots for three rounds, names will be drawn at random.

Support STEM education outreach

BSMA was created to support and inspire learners of all ages through STEM education outreach. For instance, the non-profit provides Northern New Mexico students the opportunity to experience Los Alamos National Laboratory’s science museum through free transportation for field trips and programs. A visit to the Bradbury can spark a student’s passion for working in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, while gaining an appreciation for the tremendous work happening every day at the Lab.

Perks of membership include a 10% discount at the museum’s gift shop, advance notice of special member events, as well as reciprocal benefits at more than 300 science museums nationwide. Learn about membership options, or make a one-time donation. You can also help by shopping at Gadgets, which has gone online and offers curbside delivery.
