“[this] charming musical portrait... combines art and education in a completely unique and entertaining way.” -Salt Lake Tribune

"Curie Me Away!" is a radioactive musical based on the science, life and discoveries of Marie Curie. Core chemistry concepts (compounds and reactions, groupings on the periodic table, transmutation, radioactive half-life) are reinforced through lyrical metaphor in a biography of discovery. With emotional range, a powerful message for women in STEM and their collaborators, and lots of science–it’s the radical story of a persistent woman who changed our understanding of the universe.

Matheatre, an acclaimed STEM-based touring company, is traveling internationally with imaginative programming including Tesla from the Machine and Calculus: The Musical! Matheatre has performed in Singapore, Taiwan, China, Canada and across the US.

This February, the Bradbury Science Museum Association is bringing "Curie Me Away!" to New Mexico with venues to include the acclaimed Moving Arts Espanola, which was recently featured in CNN Heroes of 2019. This New Mexico debut tour of "Curie Me Away!" is free and will include refreshments for patrons.

Please check back for dates and times, which will be posted shortly.
