All ages are welcome!

Are you interested in Mars? How about lasers, geology, engineering, or the possibility of extraterrestrial life? If so, you don’t want to miss August’s Science on Tap speaker, Lisa Danielson, manager of the Lab’s all-female, ChemCam Engineering Operations team. Lisa will be at projectY Cowork to talk about her team’s work directing the ChemCam laser, their collaborations with planetary scientists from around the world, and about how increasing diversity is changing the landscape of engineering.

Please join us at projectY cowork for Science on Tap on Monday, August 19, from 5:30–7:00.

Science on tap

Science On Tap is a convivial opportunity to engage with Lab scientists on their current projects. A brief presentation is followed by lively questions, answers, and discussion. The fun takes place on the third Monday of each month from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at projectY Co-work at 150 Central Park Plaza in Los Alamos. Bradbury Science Museum Association members receive $1 off any drink or food items purchased from UnQuarked during Science On Tap.

The sessions are a joint project between the Bradbury Science Museum and the Los Alamos Creative District.
