The Periodic Table is the Bradbury's casual ask-me-anything gathering at the Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op.
Meet mathematician Carrie Manore and get the latest buzz on biosecurity at this month's Periodic Table program. Manore uses mosquitoes' behavioral data to understand biosecurity patterns and climate change hazards. Discuss how she models complex systems to investigate infectious disease spread, if mosquitoes have any redeeming qualities, and the correct way to pronounce “chikungunya.”
