Event Description

Former Laboratory Director Sig Hecker is scheduled to be a panelist at a Sept. 19 virtual symposium marking the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II.

Organized by the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History in Albuquerque, the symposium is divided into two sessions and guests may register for one or both sessions.

Hecker will be part of the second session, 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., in which panelists will discuss the impacts of the Manhattan Project in the latter half of the 20th century to today.
