Event Description

Recognizing and celebrating Native American heritage and contributions.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, New Mexico has the second highest percentage (9.6%) of American Indians and Alaska Natives in the nation, and Los Alamos National Laboratory continues to broaden its efforts to encourage local Native students in STEM studies and careers. The Laboratory has been repeatedly recognized as one of the Top 50 Workplaces for Indigenous STEM Professionals by the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES). Many of the exhibits you see at the Bradbury were built by a talented man from a nearby pueblo. Learn more.
