Event Description

The Ribosome opens at the Bradbury Science Musuem.

The Ribosome, curated by Karissa Sanbonmatsu of the Lab’s Theoretical Biology and Biophysics group, will officially open at the Bradbury on Friday, November 22. The exhibit is a visually stunning interpretation of the ribosome and its molecular behaviors. In addition to educational materials for student visitors and an original comic character to help our younger viewers understand the scientific concepts, the exhibit also features augmented-reality technology to transport visitors to the inside of a ribosome!

Please join us at the Bradbury for the Ribosome's official opening and ribbon cutting on Friday, November 22 from 2–4p.m. In addition to light refreshments, Karissa Sanbonmatsu and the Bradbury's design team will be on hand for discussion about the exhibit.
