Event Description

A free, family event at the Bradbury.

Misty Carty, author of Where Did The Sun Go, Where Is The Moon?, and Why Are There Seasons? will give a short talk about eclipses in the Bradbury Science Museum auditorium followed by a book signing [http://www.alittlescience.com/]. If there is time left over prior to 1 p.m., Misty will have some hands-on activities available.

She is a photographer with a Ph.D. in astronomy and has taught at Marymount and McKendree universities.

According to her website,
She hopes to inspire children of all ages to explore the world around them and become scientists themselves!

The event is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. Come on over and bring the kids!

Profits from the book sales will benefit the Bradbury Science Museum Association (BSMA) and regional science-education support. The nonprofit BSMA is hosting the event.
