Event Description

Join us in support of science as a human right.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the United Nations on December 10. 1948. This charter, under Article 27, guarantees everyone the right to “share in scientific advancement and its benefits.”

At the Bradbury Science Museum, we support this right by providing a public window into the significant science happening at Los Alamos. Each year, we welcome over 80,000 visitors from around the world to explore our interpretive exhibits and grow their understanding of scientific research and innovation at the Lab. We provide educational programming to thousands of students from some of the most underserved school districts in the state and provide a venue for local schools to promote science through science nights and fairs. Best of all, we open the doors to science for free! There is never a charge to visit the Bradbury Science Museum or for schools to use the spaces for educational events.
