Viewers from around the region tuned in Feb. 27 for a virtual public town hall featuring Laboratory Director Thom Mason and special guest Ted Wyka, manager of the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Los Alamos Field Office. 

Broadcast live from the Laboratory’s leased facility on Pacheco Street in Santa Fe, the pair covered a wide range of topics, including the Lab’s role in global security, on-site infrastructure improvements, plutonium production, hiring, small business contracting and more.

Over 125 members of the public – including several from the media, advocacy organizations, Lab partners and more – tuned in to the town hall.
