July 9, 16, 23 - STEM Saturdays at the Southside Library
Held at the Santa Fe Public Library’s Southside Branch, these sessions from STEM Santa Fe will give kids a chance to explore mathematical concepts in a lighthearted way using fun games and interactive models. Recommended for middle school-aged students, but any child and adult with an interest is welcome to attend. 

July 12-17 -  ScienceFest
ScienceFest returns to the town of Los Alamos July 12-17 with demos, music and geeky goodness for all ages, including the public launch of the Laboratory’s Challenge: Tomorrow education trailers during Discovery Day at Ashley Pond Park on Saturday, July 16. July 13, 20, 27 - Movies on the Green
Bring your picnic and blanket for the free movies at Kit Carson Park in Taos every Wednesday evening through August 10. The July movies include Luca and Clifford The Big Red Dog.

July 15 - Deadline for Quality of Life grant applications
The Governor’s Commission on Disability has established a Quality of Life Small Grants Program for New Mexican non-profit organizations to provide enhanced programs or services that will improve the quality of life of New Mexicans with disabilities.

July 18 - Supercomputing history
Come join a chat about the super stories of the scientific history of the Lab's supercomputing legacy at this month’s casual Periodic Table event at Bathtub Row Brewing in Los Alamos. Historian Nicholas Lewis will answer your questions about the people and innovations behind the world's most powerful computers.

July 23 - Bach double violin concerto
As part of the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, the New Mexico Museum of Art in Santa Fe hosts this performance as violinists John Storgårds and Paul Huang play one of the most cherished works of the violin repertoire—the so-called “Bach Double”.

July 25 - Learn about your credit score
Join WESST Loan Fund Administrator Melissa Toland Williams for an online workshop on understanding what makes up your credit score and how your score is impacted.

July 28 - Taos Plaza Live
Katy P & The Biz play the free Thursday concert on the Plaza in Taos, part of the series that runs from June 23 to August 25 and is supported by Laboratory operator Triad National Security, LLC.

July 30 - Enchanted Forest Trail Races
Head to Red River for trail runs of three different lengths from 8 miles to marathon through the Enchanted Forest cross country ski area.

July 31 - Grounded in Clay exhibit opening
Before it travels nationally, the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture in Santa Fe is the first place to see Grounded in Clay: The Spirit of Pueblo Pottery - an exhibition curated by 60 individual members of 21 tribal communities who selected and wrote about the artistically or culturally distinctive pots on display. The exhibit debuts July 31 and will be in Santa Fe for the rest of the year.
