Laboratory unveils employee training building in downtown Los Alamos
Beginning May 17 a group of Laboratory employees moved in to a 49,000-square-foot facility in downtown Los Alamos. Once COVID restrictions are lifted and the first level of the building remodel is complete, the new Employee Training Academy housed there will accommodate more than 120 employees and a variety of hands-on training and qualification spaces. The building is expected to be completely open in winter 2021. In addition, the Laboratory recently issued a Request for Information (RFI) with a view to lease up to 100,000 square feet of light laboratory space within a 50-mile driving radius of Los Alamos.
