June 5 - First Fridays free at the Harwood Museum
Admission to the Harwood Museum of Art in Taos is free after 5pm on the first Friday of the month all summer, perfect for seeing the new exhibit on  Norteño  car culture and the  Santos tradition.

June 10 - Exploring Mars with Perseverance and Ingenuity
Lab scientist Roger Wiens, leader of the Perseverance Rover’s SuperCam laser instrument, will share the latest details of scientists’ groundbreaking adventures on Mars at this online Night with a Nerd event, a presentation of the Bradbury Science Museum Association (BSMA).

June 14-18, July 20-23: ISEC Summer Science Kit Teacher Training
All elementary teachers who teach science in an ISEC school are required to be trained on the Next Generation Science Standards curriculum, and the LANL Foundation is offering two sets of training sessions for newly-hired teachers or those who have changed grade levels. 

June 16 - Wolf sanctuary virtual tour
Join the Pajarito Environmental Education Center for a virtual tour of the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary in Ramah, NM, with a chance to meet and learn about the wolves who live there.

June 21 - Future fuel for truck fleets
Join Lab scientist Rod Borup at this relaxed online Science on Tap event as he discusses his work developing hydrogen and fuel cell technology for future truck fleets.

June 24 - Santa Fe Chamber Business Achievement Awards
The Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce hosts this year’s achievement awards. The Laboratory is one of the sponsors.

June 28 - Anniversary of Fort Union National Monument
Come celebrate the 67th birthday of Fort Union as a unit of the National Park Service. The celebration includes a special guided tour and a program on the history of the National Park Service.

July 4 - Independence Day
