Stop by the White Rock Visitor Center in White Rock, NM, to check out the Visualizing Calculations installation, which is on loan from the Bradbury Science Museum. Visualizing Calculations consists of artifacts that trace Los Alamos National Laboratory’s historic and current use of calculation tools—from old school slide rules to immersive virtual reality environments.

Among the items on display, visitors can see numbers crunched by MANIAC in the 1950s and game-changing scientific calculators from the 1970s. Visualizing Calculations will be on view all month at the visitor center.

Want to see more calculating advancements from the past and present? After your stop in White Rock, head over to the Bradbury Science Museum to check out its Supercomputing exhibit.
