278,104 meals given during Lab Spring Food Drive

Bradbury Science Museum among drive’s donation sites

Offering a range of ways to get involved was the signature of this year's annual food drive at the Laboratory, which took place March 27 to April 17.

Whether it was by donating money or food, or by volunteering their time with regional nonprofits battling hunger, employees rose to the challenge, donating $68,842 and 3,283 pounds of food to Laboratory partner The Food Depot, and helping at six different LANL-organized volunteer events.

The donations translate to 278,104 meals to Northern New Mexicans.
